Today i was up and about by 0800 hrs., am staying at the Manhattan Hotel in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. After breakfast, i walked to the nearby waterfront, spent time there for most of the morning, the ship "Bounty" currently is at dock. The weather about 70(F) and sunny, seems almost hot, compared to back home in sub-zero Wisconsin...
Later in the evening i went to a Elvis Presley concert at the Bay Front Center, only a few blocks from my hotel. The concert will be my first, and to actually see the "king" in person well, does not get any better. Mr. Presley was "electric", like seeing God for the first time... I will be staying here in St. Petersburg until early March, then will fly directly to Munich, Germany on a sabbatical, with ASC directives, then tour Europe until mid-June, until then will enjoy my stay here in St. Petersburg, just relaxing...
