Journal/Memoir Entry...Carter

This morning after breakfast and doing some house/yard work, i reviewed my mail "received" for the day. In the mail i received a letter from former President Carter concerning the "Carter Center" and general updates... The opening letter paragraph by Mr. Carter read: "As the year begins, Rosalynn and I look forward to new challenges and rededicate ourselves to helping others through our work at The Carter Center. Like you, we are concerned about the fragile economic climate because we know that financial turmoil exacts its cruelest toll on the most vulnerable among us, further subjecting them to disease, hunger, and insecurity. Thats why our efforts to bring peace, health, and hope to those who depend on us are going to take on even greater importance now..."( continued/deleted)
