Journal/Memoir Entry...Interview

This morning i returned home from work about 0200 hrs./temperature outside about 33 degrees, cold for Stockton... Yesterday i watched a news interview on the Charlie Rose show, with former President Jimmy Carter. In the interview President Carter talked on the topic of peace in the Middle East, concerning Israel, Hamas and Palestine, the former president sincerely believes peace can be obtained, but i personally doubt it, especially after Israel's (Operation Cast Lead) in Gaza, and because Hamas refuses to acknowledge Israel's "right to exist". The blood hatred in the Palestinian people and Hamas against the Israeli people is too deep...(in my opinion) this hatred requires a "one state solution" for any permanent peace. Since God "originally" promised Moses the Israeli territory for the Jewish people, they should have complete military control of all Israeli territory, including the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, to control or eliminate all future terrorist rocket/missile attacks, this includes having Jerusalem as their "God ordained" capital. I personally believe President Carter is "naive" when it comes to the nastiness capability of human nature, especially evil or barbarism. Neville Chamberlain the PM of Great Britain found out the hard way, when he tried to make peace with Adolph Hitler and Nazi Germany, you cannot negotiate with barbarians or a evil determined to destroy a people... Well enough on that topic, in the interview President Carter also surprised me when he told Mr. Rose that he did not think President Ronald Reagan deserved credit for the "down fall" of the Soviet Union and communism, i found that hard to swallow, maybe Mr. Carter is in "self-denial", even though he has a vast amount of knowledge on foreign affairs...
