Journal Entry "Blessing Over the Sun"
This morning i did some yard work, mowed my front lawn, temperature about 60 degrees(F) and sunny...Later had breakfast, a toasted bagel with red raspberry preserves and a cup of brewed coffee. Later logged on the internet "Israel National News", read a interesting article on the Jewish rite, "The Blessing Over the Sun" Jewish Law stipulates that a special blessing be recited when they see the sun at the same place and on the same week as when it was created. ( First Chapter Genesis) Once every 28 years, this year on April 08 at sunrise... The blessing: "Blessed are you...Who fashions the work of Creation" which commemorates the vast greatness of God's Creation. The blessing should be recited a half-hour after the sunrise, this year the rite is more complicated because April 08 is also the day before Passover, one of the busiest mornings on the Jewish calendar, i intend to observe the ritual, as it blends with my book i'm writing "Emergence/Book of Ra", 'Ra' being ancient Egypt's sun-god...
