JOURNAL/MEMOIR (Entry) First Lady

This morning the temperature was very cold, it reached below freezing overnight, after breakfast, i reviewed my received mail for the day. In the mail was a letter from the RNC, the letter was authored by the first lady Laura Bush, the letter in part stated: "Mr. Temme, we are grateful for the commitment and loyalty you showed George throughout his presidency. Your kind wishes and support helped lift the President throughout his presidency."

After i finished reviewing my other mail, i logged on the internet to review other world news... Later in the day i finished reading David McCullough's new latest book titled "John Adams" the biography. I firmly believe that John Adams was the "mastermind" of the American Revolution, along with his compatriots George Washington, Alexander Hamilton and Benjamin Franklin... These individuals were the driving force behind the revolution, without them there would be no United States... In my opinion, the most "over- rated" president is John F. Kennedy, because President Kennedy "set the stage" for the disasterous Vietnam War, costing 58,000 plus U.S. service mens' lives, and hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese. He also "set the stage" for the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis, which almost ended civilization as we knew it... As for civil rights, he accomplished little.
In my opinion, the most "under-rated" president is President Jimmy Carter, as he was instrumental in the "peace agreement" between Israel and Egypt during his presidency... and let us not forget his (Carter Center) which he founded after he left office. The center engages in mass humanitarian works around the world, the center also helps negotiate "human rights" and peace agreements in foreign countries.
