Journal Entry/Max Planck/President Carter

Today, was up and about by 0900 hrs., after having breakfast, i logged onto the internet as usual for the days news... Later in the afternoon i read a article in the only magazine i currently receive, (Science News), the article was titled "Planck by Planck" in honor of Max Planck by Ron Cowan. In the opening part of the article the author Mr. Cowan stated, "before the first galaxies, before the first stars, there was light-the brilliant glow of radiation created during the Big Bang, 13.7 billion years ago..." To me it sounded like he was quoteing the First Book of Moses, called Genesis... The word Genesis is a Greek word meaning "origin" or "source" in other words "infinity", it seems to me Moses got the creation theme "right" and Genesis (in part) was used as a guideline for Mr. Cowan's article if one reads between the lines... Later in the afternoon i reviewed my received mail for the day, received a letter from the Carter Center with a note from former President Jimmy Carter concerning human rights and humanitarian work the center is doing around the globe. Mr. Carter's hand writing appears to be a bit "shakey" not up to his usual penmanship, but the former president is after all now well into his "80's", i salute him...
